Iīm a vet in my own vet office in the eastern part of Lisbon.
I fell in love with Rough collies when I was a little girl,
perhaps 5 or 6 years old, when I was looking at a womenīs magazine
that was featuring some dog breedīs. All of a sudden I fell in love with
the two sable rough colliesīs picture! I still have that picture.
From that day on I was looking forward to have my own Collie.
In 1992 I met Ilson and Roberto (Razart collies) in a dog show in Lisbon.
From them I got my first bitch, Pretty Polly Razart.
In 1996 I met Carlos Silva also in a dog show and he had Razart male collies.
We decided to work together in the collie showing and breeding.
In 1999 we formed the kennel WISEMOOR. We showed our collies,
with good results and hoped to breed.
Misfortunately we discovered that Polly cant have pups.
So we decided to get 2 girls from Steadwyn collies.
They arrived safely in Sept 18th 2001.
In 2002 Carlos and I split up. He kept the Razart males,
the bitch Steadwyn Blissfully Black and the kennel name Wisemoor.
I restarted with a new kennel name: WISEWYN.
At the moment I have two female collies that live with me.
In August 2003 Karen gained her Portuguese Championtitle! Few months later, Karen gave birth to her first litter, by Stormy Affair Razart, a beautiful tricolor male who was previously mine and Carlosī.
